Sources
Many correspondents provide valuable data on their families and ancestors, with perhaps some research findings from their own ancestral lines. Such information is important, as internal family evidence may be impossible to obtain from other sources. But any One Name Study depends on a core of data from various sources to build up a picture of the main families and areas where families resided. From this, pedigrees can be assembled.
